Mission Statements
Bullitt Central High School
The mission of Bullitt Central High School is to provide a positive, student-centered atmosphere which challenges all learners to reach their potential and which fosters a commitment to lifelong learning.
Bullitt Central Library/Media Center
It is the mission of the library/media program at Bullitt Central High School to ensure that every student who graduates from Bullitt Central High School is equipped with the necessary information skills to compete in and contribute to a technologically complex society. Additionally, and of no less import, it is the library's mission to instill a love of literature in order to promote life-long reading and learning. The library/media center sees itself as part of the national library system, and as such takes the stance that part of its mission is the preservation of the cultural heritage and the defense of freedom of expression and access to information, and, therefore, where such is not contrary to the missions and goals of the school and the district, adheres to the principles outlined in the American Library Association's Library Bill of Rights.
