Fact Versus Opinion : a simple and useful organizer for determining the nature of statements in a persuasive piece of writing.
Pre-reading Notes : an excellent guide for annotating a chapter, article, etc.
Summary Notes : a form for taking notes while reading in preparation for summarizing a piece of text.
Cornell Notes : the best organizer for taking notes, bar none, especially for college-bound students.
Process Notes : a good form for taking notes on a process, particularly a scientific process, but could be applied to anything that involves a “process.”
Q - Notes : a combination of Cornell Notes and SQ3R.
Textbook Feature Analysis : every course should begin by using this form to analyze the textbook used for instruction – very useful.

Cause and Effect : multiple organizers of various quality for identifying the effects of events. I have filed this under writing because some would be particularly useful for persuasive writing, but they could be used for reading as well.
Expository Writing : many different takes on structuring the 5-paragraph essay; a visual representation for everyone.
Main Idea Organizer : a brainstorming sheet that culminates in the main idea in a piece of writing.
Narrative Writing : a variety of organizers for planning a story.
Persuasive Writing : many good organizers for writing an editorial piece.

Arts : a number of organizers, some good, some not so good. I think the one for describing music is very good and there are a couple for comparing artwork that appear useful.
